OLIVER, The Brandtech Group’s dedicated in-house marketing transformation company, has appointed Patrick Miciano as its Asia Pacific Chief Creative Officer (APAC CCO), alongside the launch of a new regional Creative Council aimed at strengthening creative leadership and advancing AI-powered marketing capabilities across the region.

The council will bring together leaders across creative, technology, and operations to elevate the quality of work delivered to OLIVER and Brandtech clients, while establishing new ways to integrate artificial intelligence into creative development and execution.

In his new role, Patrick will lead the council alongside Paul Bonnette, APAC Chief Executive Officer of OLIVER, and Rodrigo Sobral, Global Chief Creative Officer. The group will focus on advancing creative standards across the region through stronger capabilities in craft, ideation, storytelling, orchestration, and technology.

“Establishing the APAC Regional Creative Council is the first of many steps we’re taking to operationalise creative excellence in the era of AI,” Patrick said.

He added, “The council brings together creative, tech and ops leaders who excel in craft, ideation, storytelling, orchestration and technology. This powerhouse team will deliver game-changing work for our customers.”

Joining Patrick in the council are regional creative and operational leaders with experience spanning advertising, technology, and brand communications.

Matt Johnson, Head of AI and Regional Creative Director, will lead initiatives in generative AI, automation, agentic workflows, and advanced prompt engineering, combining his experience in marketing and advertising with emerging technologies.

Sam Dedel, Head of Integration and Regional Creative Director for APAC, will oversee the integration of creative briefs and resources across markets. Drawing from her previous experience as creative director at U-Studio Singapore, Sam will focus on using automation and measurement to support locally relevant work at scale.

The council will also include Garvey Zacarias, Regional Creative Director and Head of Art, who has been with OLIVER Philippines since 2019. His portfolio includes work for Maya, Manulife, adidas, and Unilever, with recognition from Spikes and Campaign Brief’s The Work.

Hope Reyes, Regional Creative Director and Head of Copy, will work alongside Garvey to guide the region’s creative output. Her previous work for brands including Grab, Unilever, and Netflix has earned recognition from D&AD, the Cannes Lions, and the CLIO Awards.

Completing the council is Sriranjini Ramachandran, Senior Regional Creative Operations Director for APAC, who was promoted from regional operations director. With experience across more than 10 markets, she will lead operational strategy and program governance in support of the company’s regional growth priorities.

For Paul, the council represents an investment in the people and capabilities needed to meet the evolving demands of brands across Asia Pacific.

“APAC’s most innovative brands need creative thinking that matches their ambition. That’s why we’ve assembled a council of the region’s brightest minds, with the judgment, craft, and customer insight to elevate everything we deliver,” Paul said. “This council amplifies our talent, training, and technology across the region. We’re not just improving outputs; we’re building an engine that scales, accelerates execution, and gives our customers a competitive advantage they can’t get anywhere else.”

OLIVER APAC currently brings together more than 1,100 people across 70 dedicated content studios, supporting over 500 brands, including Unilever, Google, adidas, and Manulife. Its regional operations produce content in more than 20 languages.

The company has also received recognition from Campaign, including Global Digital Innovation Agency of the Year, Global In-House Agency of the Year, and Global Customer Engagement Agency of the Year (Silver).

Through the new Creative Council, OLIVER aims to strengthen its regional creative leadership while adapting its in-house marketing model to an increasingly AI-driven industry.
