Tokyo – Award-winning advertising executive Akira Kagami has joined the elite global Jury panel to judge the 3rd Intercontinental Advertising CUP.
As Executive Officer & Global Executive Creative Director at Dentsu Inc in Tokyo, Kagami is one of four advertising executives who will represent the Asia Pacific on THE CUP 2010’s international Jury panel. He returns to THE CUP after sitting on THE CUP’s inaugural Jury Panel in Valencia, Spain in 2007.

Kagami joins Sir John Hegarty, Worldwide Creative Director at BBH in London (Grand Jury President at ADFEST 2009; Prasoon Pandey, Director at Corcoise Films in Mumbai (Jury President for Film Craft & New Director in 2009); and Suthisak Sucharittanonta, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Bangkok (Jury President for Outdoor at ADFEST 2009).
Sir Hegarty, Pandey, Sucharittanonta and Kagami will be in Thailand in March 2010 to judge THE CUP, which is taking place in Asia for the first time ever this year.
THE CUP 2009 Awards Ceremony will be hosted on March 18 during ADFEST 2010’s 3-day festival, from March 18 to 20 in Pattaya, Thailand.
