MassiveMusic to present “Music is Not Subjective” at ADFEST 2011

ASIA-PACIFIC, JANUARY 2011 – MassiveMusic, most recently winner of ‘Best Use of Music’ at the London International Awards 2010 for Deutsche Bahn, will present a speaker session  entitled “Music is Not Subjective‟ at ADFEST 2011.

Music is an important emotional tool when it comes to carrying messages to target audiences. And yet, in the execution of many commercials, music is still treated as an afterthought.

“I always say, ‘Music is a gateway to the soul; it touches us where very few things can touch us’,” says Diederik van Middelkoop, who will fly in from Shanghai for the session. “I cannot stress the importance of good music in marketing enough.”

The session will help creatives and marketing executives understand the power of music when it comes to creating memorable brands.

“Many marketers spend so much time planning the visual component of their advertising campaigns, they forget all about music and sound design. For this reason, the MassiveMusic speaker session at ADFEST 2011 will be one of the festival‟s highlights,” says ADFEST President Jimmy Lam.

MassiveMusic originally launched in Amsterdam in 2000, then established offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, where van Middelkoop has been based for the past two years.

ADFEST 2011 takes place in Phuket, Thailand from March 17 to 19, 2011. To register, please visit www.adfest.com.
