JWT Manila adds Halls creative account to its Kraft business

PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 28, 2010 – Kraft Philippines has appointed JWT Manila to handle strategic and creative duties for Halls Menthol Candy, the agency’s fourth brand in its Kraft business, without a pitch.
 
JWT Manila handles Eden Cheese, the number one cheese brand in the Philippines; Cheez Whiz, the leading cheese spread brand; and Miracle Whip–all under the Kraft portfolio.
 
"Halls is the leading sugar confectionery brand in the world," said Jos Ortega, CEO of JWT Manila. "We are eager to contribute pioneering ideas that will take Halls to even greater heights in the Philippines."
 
"Halls will be a significant player in our growing Kraft portfolio," said Pam Takai, marketing director of Kraft Philippines. "We look forward to aggressively pushing the brand together with our partners at JWT."
 

Work on the brand has commenced, with the launch slated for the next few months. Kraft Foods merged with Cadbury, which has Halls in its portfolio, earlier this year.
