THE PHILIPPINES, JULY 19, 2012: Out of the 1,474 finalists in the AD STARS Festival 2012, 73 Philippine entries made the cut. BBDO Guerrero leads with 38 finalist entries. Campaigns & Grey comes in at second with 10 entries while TBWASantiago Mangada Puno follows wiht 8, Leo Burnett Manila with 7, Dentsu Philippines with 4, JWT Manila with 3, DM9 JaymeSyfu with 2. GMA Network’s marketing arm got one finalist spot.
The Product & Service category is where the Philippines had the most finalist entries with 45 spots. A total of 146 judges from 44 countries participated in the preliminary judging process in which finalists were selected out of 10,431 entries. The finalists will compete for the Grand Prix in the main competion between August 23 to 25 in Busan, South Korea.
