ASIA-PACIFIC – At the end of May 2017, Leo Burnett Worldwide and The Monkeys emerged as the top creative agency in Asia-Pacific with two account wins apiece, according to independent consultancy, R3.
Leo Burnett’s wins are for the Chung Hwa Telecom Project out of Taiwan and WuQiong Snacks in China. The Monkeys snagged Berlei and Beam Suntory brand Canadian Club Whiskey, both out of Australia. Other creative agencies that made the list were Phibious, DDB, RARE, Ogilvy, Reload, and Atomic 212.
Meanwhile, Mindshare topped all media agencies in the Asia-Pacific region with three wins. Those are for Yum! in China, Diageo in Greater China, and PT Quipper in Indonesia. Universal McCann, Initiative, Carat, Essence, OMD, Havas Media, and Ikon each won one media account.
