Kidlat E.Zobel Diwa brief looks to uplift Philippine arts and culture

MANILA – Philippine Arts and Culture is the focus of the brief for the Kidlat E.Zobel Diwa award, which celebrates creativity and humanity.

The brief’s objective is to “create a sense of urgency on the need to uplift the state of Philippine arts and culture”, targeting an audience of government agencies and its officials, the private sector, and the general public.

According to the brief, “Not enough is being done to uplift and propagate Filipino arts and culture—despite a rich heritage and people known for being prolific and creative.”
