NuWorks Interactive Labs’ ECD Joey David Tiempo joins AD STARS 2018 as final judge and The New Stars jury president

BUSAN – AD STARS 2018 welcomes NuWorks Interactive Labs’ Executive Creative Director, Joey David Tiempo, as she joins the stellar roster of final judges for the Interactive, Integrated, innovation, Data Insights, Mobile, and Social & Influencer categories. She is the only judge from the Philippines chosen to judge the AD STARS 2018 Awards slated to take place on August 25, 2018, in Busan, Korea.

In addition to being a final judge, Joey is also chosen as The New Stars program jury president. The New Stars program is open to anyone with less than three years’ industry experience, or who is aged below 30.

Joey joined NuWorks in 2017, where she’s leading the young and agile creative team of the country’s leading independent digital innovations agency and overseeing creative vision and direction for NuWorks Interactive Labs’ diverse set of blue chip clientele, including Unilever and Nestle.

Before joining NuWorks, Joey was an Executive Creative Director of TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno. Joey’s body of work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, AWARD Awards, Clio, Spikes Asia, LIA, Ad Fest and AD STARS. She has been invited to serve as a judge in the Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, Spikes Asia, and Ad Fest. Joey is also responsible for winning the Philippines’ first Webby Award.

A writer, an art director, and web designer, Joey puts all these skills to use in pursuing her advocacies such as the award-winning MANIKAKO (My Doll) — a non-profit organization that teaches creativity and environmental responsibility to children. The social experiment, Correcting History, for CARMMA (Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang) gained global spotlight, earning a Gold Clio, Grande Lotus, Ad Stars Grand Prix and other prestigious awards. More importantly, it gave her the chance to change the minds of young Filipinos and the country’s history.
