Golden Voice gets real

PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 2011 – Since the discovery of Ted Williams’ golden voice on YouTube, the American public is kept glued to his amazing rags to riches story. To no surprise, Williams’ representative announced a reality TV show in the works called Second Chances at Life, which will follow Williams’ attempts to rebuild his life and career.

Ted “Golden Voice” Williams was a homeless man whose golden voice was discovered by America after his interview was posted on YouTube. Sympathizers on the internet sought help for him by posting the interview, helping him land voiceover jobs. He has appeared on the Today Show, Dr. Phil, did voice-over work for Kraft, and an offer to voice for the Cleveland Cavaliers. While the offers keep coming, Williams’ story is all-inspiring. There was a reported altercation with one of his daughters, and a brief stint in rehab last January.

But Second Chances at Life might just take off. Williams’ rep announced that plans for a second season include introducing other people who deserve a second chance. Let’s hope it won’t be another Living Lohan.
