OMD Hong Kong appoints new lead for international unit

ASIA-PACIFIC – HONG KONG, MAY 2, 2012: Brett Stewart has been appointed as managing partner, OMD International based in OMD’s Hong Kong office effective July 3. Apart from leading the expansion of OMD International through the Hong Kong hub, Stewart will be responsible for delivering the best possible media results for key clients through his understanding of consumer insights, strategy and channels.
 
Stewart brings in over 25 years of experience in the ad industry and extensive communications planning experience in packaged goods, technology, luxury goods and aviation. He will join OMD from Universal McCann Hong Kong, where he is currently the global managing partner, leading the Cathay Pacific Airways account.
 
Torie Henderson, president, global account management, Omnicom Media Group, Asia Pacific, said, “OMD International is a very successful unit within our operations and increasing its presence in key local markets like Hong Kong is part of our plan to deliver world class solutions to our client partners. With his extensive experience, Brett is ideally suited to lead this practice in Hong Kong and I welcome Brett’s arrival in OMD.”
