People: Kinesso Appoints Nicholas Nozawa as PRESIDENT of Kinesso JAPAN

TOKYO, JAPAN– Kinesso, the media and marketing technology unit of Interpublic Group, today announce the appointment of Nicholas Nozawa as Representative Director, President of Kinesso in Japan.

Nozawa will report to Koichi Sonoda, Representative Director, CEO and Country Manager of Mediabrands Japan and the Global President of Kinesso, Arun Kumar.

Nozawa, who joined Mediabrands Japan in 2019, and currently serves as Chief Product Officer will take on the additional role overseeing Kinesso Japan, effective immediately.

Nozawa is a seasoned executive with multiple years of experience in strategy and tactical development infusing business and technology in top global companies. He is also an applied expert in the area of data science and business intelligence, digital transformation, marketing automation system design, and process optimization and has years of hands on experience in both strategy development and proven operation in the area of digital marketing in B2B, B2C, B2B2C environment. Nozawa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked as a Head of Digital at AIG, Founding Director COE Data analytics at Metlife, Managed the Business Insights Division at Amway Corp, as well as at SAS and Apple and most recently Chief Product Officer at UM Japan. He obtained MSCS from Boston University.
