Creative brand agency Superunion (formerly known as Brand Union), today announced the new hire of Prachawan Ketavan (Jick) as Senior Strategy Director. Jick will take on the leadership of Superunion’s strategic offering in Bangkok as part of a global agency-wide transformation into a next-generation brand agency.

With more than 18 years of experience in brand communication, Jick’s last role was as Director of Planning at J. Walter Thompson, and commented: “I’m excited for this new role, and the opportunity to harness our outstanding creativity to create more powerful and enduring connections between people and brands.”

Jick’s hire follows closely on the heels of the newly created role of Managing Creative Director, taken on by Dan Ellis. Following 15-years with Brand Union, both Ellis & Jick share a strong ambition to creatively transform and create brands for a new era of the agency.

Dan Ellis commented: “We want a more united and creative team to respond to the evolving market landscape and our client’s needs. To spark change, we need creativity to be at the core of our business, supported by both our strategic and design disciplines.”

“I couldn’t have found a more perfect partner in Jick – her diverse experience, along with her collaborative and mentorship abilities, adds to the richness of what already is a remarkable team, ensuring we have diverse, creative, strategic talents to innovate and solve tomorrow’s brand challenges. Our best work is yet to come.”

The new roles build on the success already established by ex-Managing Director Gunpong Panthongprasert, who is now Chief Executive, Ogilvy Thailand, and supported by a powerful union of talent including Bonita Wu (Strategy Director) and Kraitip Sivakriskul (Business Development Director).
