Starcom Indonesia makes dual appointments for P&G business and branded entertainment

ASIA-PACIFIC – INDONESIA, MAY 2011 – Starcom Indonesia boosts its senior management ranks with the hired of Aloysia Dian as Business Director to head up its P&G business while Ruwie Rahardjo has been promoted to Head of LiquidThread, the agency’s branded entertainment arm, as well as its digital practice.

Dian was previously a key member of the agency’s P&G planning team until 2006. In the last five years, she was working with one of Indonesia’s well respected agencies, on insights and innovation as well as new business processes and systems for the agency.

As the Business Director heading P&G, Dian has been charged with bringing thought-leadership in key areas, driving innovation, and spearheading excellence in executions.

Rahardjo, who has been leading the growing digital practice of the agency, has been promoted to Head of LiquidThread. In her new role, her mandate is to expand the agency’s engagements in the social media and mobile space while helming the creation of branded entertainment properties via partnerships and strategic tie-ups.

Both senior executives will report and work with Ravi Bhaya, Technical Advisor of Starcom MediaVest Group Indonesia.

On their appointments, Bhaya said: “I’m extremely delighted that Aloysia is back at Starcom to head the P&G business. While she has worked on the same business in the past, she now brings a fresh perspective having experienced the burgeoning marketplace from the outside. I foresee an immediate impact on our strategies right until the implementation in market.”

He added, “Ruwie has played an exceptional role in driving scale to our digital business and given her background in content development, she is but a natural fit to spearhead the two growth drivers.”
