SHANGHAI – In response to the company’s growing presence in Asia and surrounding region, The Sweet Shop has opened a new lead office in Shanghai, expanding its footprint to a total of seven offices around the world.

Heading up the new Shanghai hub is Laura Geagea, who will take on the new position of Managing Director, China. The move makes The Sweet Shop one of the few international production companies to operate out of Shanghai.

Paul Prince, Founder and CEO of The Sweet Shop, added, “Our Shanghai office will play a dynamic role in providing quick fire response and creative production solutions to clients and agencies across Mainland China. Our point of difference is we can produce content to an international standard, while also having an intimate understanding of local brands and agencies.”

Laura said, “Shanghai is home for me. I’ve lived and worked here for nine years now. We feel it’s the right time to have an office here to expand our offering to clients and agencies, and support the development of our new talent. There are friends in the local advertising community we would love to work with more.”
