Anthony Bourdain fames CNN in Emmy Awards

GLOBAL – UNITED STATES, July 22, 2013-For the first time, CNN’s original TV Series, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown was named for numerous Emmy Award Nominations.

CNN’s lifestyle series was hosted by a world-renowned chef, best-selling author, Anthony Bourdain. He travels across the world to enlighten the viewers and exploring much diversity of different places, learning the rich cultures by their food and rituals.

The nominations include Outstanding Informational Series, Outstanding Writing for Non-fiction Programming for the Anthony Bourdain’s Libya episode, which featured the personal stories of the places, food and the music of anti-Quaddafi expats. Third nomination is the Outstanding Sound Mixing for Non-Fiction Programming for Myanmar episode and the Outstanding Cinematography for Non-Fiction Programming for another episode in Myanmar. The series exposed the local cuisines after they welcomed the outsiders.

In less than a year the show already made a name for a Primetime nomination and it is expected to have more shows when the season 2 kicks of this September 16. Anthony Bourdain is expected to explore the culture and food when he visits Spain, New Mexico, Israel, Copenhagen, Sicily, Detroit, Tokyo and India.
