LePub Asia Pacific bolsters creative team with four key appointments in Singapore

SINGAPORE — LePub APAC has made four key appointments at its Singapore headquarters. 

Belynda Sim-Mak has joined as a Cultural Strategist from her previous role as Head of Strategy, APAC at VCCP Singapore. She brings more than 20 years of experience in driving brand and communications strategy to LePub’s mission of using creativity to add value to people’s lives through brand experiences that resonate in culture. 

“Bel is a very strategic hire for LePub APAC: going into year two of operation, we will have an even greater focus on our unique creative proposition of helping brands find a seat at the table of culture. Bel will also build our Data & Culture Lab at our LePub APAC hub in Singapore, strengthening its proposition and our diverse offers for clients in the arena of cultural branding,” said Hanh Kanssen, Managing Director at LePub APAC. 


Belynda is LePub APAC’s fourth significant hire in recent months: Mark Peeters and Robert Nelk have also joined as Associate Creative Directors. Known for being the team behind The Next Rembrandt while in Amsterdam, they first relocated to Singapore in 2019, and joined LePub last year. 

Sergey Mast has also joined as Creative Director of Art at Technology. For over a decade, he has helped brands find new ways to tell stories and connect advertising, technology, and innovation. Today, he is ranked among the region’s top creatives. 

“When we opened our doors in late 2022, LePub APAC offered a new kind of agency that’s globally connected and locally relevant, helping brands to deliver experiences that matter enough to live in a culture. Already, we’ve won eight Cannes Lions and grown our client portfolio to include some of the world’s most ambitious brands. Now our momentum continues with four outstanding creative thinkers joining the LePub APAC family,” said Cyril Louis, Executive Creative Director at LePub APAC.  

LePub was created by combining the renowned Publicis Italy with best-in-class data, media, and technology expertise from across Publicis Groupe. It opened its APAC headquarters in Singapore in late 2022, with Hanh Kanssen as Managing Director and Cyril Louis as Executive Creative Director.
