D&AD has announced Nils Leonard, co-founder of Uncommon Creative Studio, as its new President for the 2026/2027 term.
With more than two decades of experience at the forefront of advertising and design, Leonard will curate a series of President Lectures at D&AD Alive, bringing together different disciplines, generations, and perspectives from across the creative industry.
“D&AD has shaped me and so many people I admire, so being asked to be President is a genuine honor,” said Leonard in a statement.
His appointment marks a new chapter for the organization as it continues to champion creativity and bring together voices from across the industry. D&AD also extended its thanks to outgoing President Lisa Smith for her contributions to the organization and the wider creative community during her one-year term.
