The Public Relations Society of the Philippines has launched the 45th Anvil Awards, which recognize the most effective public relations (PR) plan within the past year. Entries on any PR program or tool employed from October 1, 2008 to October 31, 2009 are eligible to enter.
The deadline for sending in applications is on October 31, 2009.
Submitted materials will undergo two processes of deliberation: the first screening will be done by PR practitioners, judging the work based on the guidelines included in the entry package, while the second round of screening will be handled by a multi-sectoral panel of communicators, employing their own set of standards to evaluate each piece.
Up for grabs are the Anvil Awards of Merit, Anvil Awards of Excellence, Bronze Anvil, which will award the most outstanding PR tool, and the Grand Anvil, which will recognize the best PR program of the year.
The identities of the judging officials will remain secret until the awarding ceremony on February 26, 2010, at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel.
