MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards announced its jury presidents for 2020. Merlee Jayme, Chairmom and Chief Creative Officer of Dentsu Jayme Syfu presides over the Humanity and Culture categories; Malcolm Poynton, Global Chief Creative Officer of Cheil Worldwide oversees the Creative categories; and Leigh Terry, Asia Pacific CEO of IPG Mediabrands for the Media and Digital categories. Merlee Jayme comments, “creativity with a purpose is something close to my heart. Our world today needs this more than ever. APAC Tambuli 2020 is one rare award show where the industry celebrates not only the effectiveness of brand campaigns, but also how it creatively helps the world in its own small or big way. I’m truly honored to be part of this.
Nothing excites me or inspires me more.”
A big fan of Tambuli, Cheil’s Malcolm Poynton asserts, “today, more than ever, the world needs brands with purpose to create change. And in 2020, the brands that combine purpose and creativity will win the hearts of a more aware generation. Celebrating the successes of brands with purpose is what sets the Tambuli Awards apart. Winning a Tambuli Award is what sets brands and agencies apart.”
IPG APAC CEO Leigh Terry says, “I am very honored to participate in judging the Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards. Why? In a world where business pressures and tenure demand that short-term effectiveness is a mandatory, creativity in standing out from the crowd as well as truly build brands and business value for the long term is more important than ever. That’s why these awards exist and are themselves increasingly important.”
The pioneer award show globally that honors creative and effective brands with purpose, the APAC Tambuli Awards celebrates brands that show the seamless integration of creativity + purpose + results. Case study entries must demonstrate how brands uplift society, create positive change, and correlate purpose with purchase.
Deadline for submission of entries is on March 31, 2020. The complete list of categories and entry form are available at www.tambuliawards.asia. For inquiries, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
