It was a momentous night as the stars aligned, legends converged, and icons came together at Sine Sandaan: Celebrating the Luminaries of Philippine Cinema. Staged by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Sine Sandaan aimed to recognize the remarkable service of Filipino producers, directors, artists, and film workers, with special mentions given to the oldest living Filipino film professionals.

Tributes were aplenty at Sine Sandaan as FDCP honored the unsung heroes of Philippine cinema, as well as the love teams, comedians, contrabidas, lead actors and actresses, regional cinema movers, independent cinema players, directors, and producers. A special tribute was given to the family of Jose Nepomuceno, who is the father of Philippine Cinema.

On November 3, guests took a walk down memory lane during the Sine Sandaan telecast on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best as you get serenaded with kilig love team anthems and classic movie theme songs.
