KODAK AWARD names New Director of the Year

They get miles of Kodak film.  And recognition, of course.  The KODAK AWARD announces its winners for 2009 as Dael Oates of Prodigy Films Sydney for New Director Of The Year-current commercial director and David Rusanow of Victorian College of the Arts Melbourne for New Director Of The Year–current student or recent graduate categories.

Both winners were selected from entries judged from six countries across the Asia Pacific Region.

Oates’s win earns him 10 x 400 feet of 35mm Kodak Motion Picture Film valued at AU$4,000, while Rusanow get 5 x 400 feet, equivalent to AU$1,300.

Both Oates and Rusanow will be introduced and recognised at the AWARD Presentation Evening on November 12, 2009 to the finest industry members of the region.
