People: Donald Lim Joins Udenna Group as Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Udenna Group announces that Donald Lim will be joining the company effective February 1, 2020 as the Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME, and will concurrently act as the Chief Innovation Officer of the Group.

Donald will be tasked to lead the Communications, Media and Entertainment group of Udenna, which includes the soon to be launched DITO Telecommunity, and Udenna’s investments in the space of media and entertainment. He is also expected to identify synergies and drive business innovation across the Udenna Group, which would include Phoenix Petroleum, Family Mart, Chelsea Logistics, Conti’s, Wendys, Enderun College, and Udenna Land.

Bringing with him more than 20 years of senior leadership experience from the media and advertising agency side, Donald will play the key role in shaping the group of companies under Udenna in its mission of uplifting the lives of Filipinos to a digital future. Donald joins the business from Dentsu Aegis Network, where he was the country CEO for three years. Prior to that, he was the Chief Digital Officer for ABS-CBN. Donald is highly regarded in the industry as a pioneer in digital, having been the founding president of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines, and was awarded various recognitions, including the Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) in Community Building in Digital Media, the DMN 40 under 40, and the Agora Award. He is also a professor in digital and strategic management for various universities, which includes De La Salle University, San Beda University and the University of Asia and the Pacific.
