MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Forget everything you think you know about fried chicken. It’s time for health-conscious people and fried chicken lovers to unite as the OMG Unfried Fried Chicken is here from Kenny’s.
Relaunching an awesome product with a new and improved recipe, Kenny Rogers Roasters created the Unfried Fried Chicken. It looks and tastes like good fried chicken but was made awesome by someone who doesn’t like the extra oil and calories that go with it.
So creative agency Dojo had to unthink the usual millennial-barkada-eating-and-selfie trope to come up with something for the younger market. How about fried chicken that goes with music that the Filipino youth would love to dance to? A great combo. Dojo teamed up with dance powerhouse G-Force for the freshest moves that made the country’s top music videos.
The result is an explosive music video in and around the store but still inspired from the heydays of MTV in modern, vibrant colors. (That’s some retro flavor for the kids.) Shot by famed director Paul Basinillo, whose creds range from award-winning commercials to the pop royalty music video “Kilometro,” the ad is thankfully miles away from a product jingle.
Dynamic editing with G-Force’s own celebrity choreography makes the song pop and locking. Expect nothing less from the company that made the now iconic “Tala” music video among others.
Fried chicken is one of the Filipino’s staple foods so Kenny’s aims to introduce and make people love the Unfried Fried Chicken. Its awesome claim to fame is that Kenny’s recipe is proven to have way lesser calories than other brands in this fried chicken nation.
So give it a try; it’s not fried! Get the new and improved OMG Unfried Fried Chicken in Spicy or Original. It’s guiltless! Now available in all Kenny Rogers Roasters branches for dine-in and delivery.
Watch out for more awesomeness from Kenny Rogers Roasters.
