LONDON, UK – 3D DOOH pioneer Ocean Outdoor has launched its latest innovation, The Showcase – a cutting-edge, freestanding, immersive 3D canvas that redefines the creative and experiential potential of out of home media.
Two years in development and powered by Ocean’s proprietary technologies, the Showcase is a fully self contained LED structure, designed and built in-house by Ocean Labs. Its dual curved screens, each stretching nearly six metres wide and three metres high, create a bold new platform for immersive storytelling, combining form, function and interactivity. The structure is directly inspired by Ocean’s globally recognized DeepScreen format, first introduced in 2021, and marks a significant evolution in the digital out of home (DOOH) landscape.

DC Studios’ all-new Superman film from Warner Bros. Pictures is the debut partner for this next-generation format. A specially created 3D trailer loop, produced by Ocean Studio in collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures UK, showcases the power of the Showcase through dynamic visuals and iconic scenes, accompanied by a cinematic soundtrack. This activation was secured through WPP Media and features prominently beneath the renowned Four Dials screen at Westfield Stratford City – one of London’s busiest retail destinations, with over one million weekly visitors.
Melanie Blood, head of Ocean Labs UK, said: “Attention, creativity and emotion are proven levers in successful, high impact advertising. The Showcase encompasses everything we know about delivering premium brand experiences and public storytelling. It’s next-level DOOH.

“Rich in creative potential, it’s an unmissable format, offering brands an exclusive, spectacular, scalable DeepScreen experience in new and unexpected places, well beyond traditionally fixed OOH environments.”
Mel Lalou, director of Westfield Rise, Northern Europe, said: “One of Westfield Rise’s key focuses is to be a part of the change in a rapidly growing media market, so we are thrilled to be chosen as the location tolaunch the Ocean Showcase. This new 3D canvas will sit in one of Westfield Stratford City’s most popular experiential sites, and with the centre seeing 1million in footfall weekly, it’s positioned in a highly visible location that will drive maximum engagement ahead of the Superman film launch. With this particular launch it’s great to be able to bring together strategic insight, creativity, and industry expertise to deliver a standout activation that goes beyond traditional retail marketing.”
Wider OOH campaigns supporting the release of Superman are also appearing across Printworks SkyLights in Manchester, Birmingham’s Archway Banner and Piccadilly Lights. Superman is released in the UK on 11th July 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
