Omnicom Malaysia appoints Danny Chin as GM for operations

ASIA-PACIFIC – MALAYSIA, JANUARY 17, 2013 – Omnicom Media Group Malaysia has promoted Danny Chin to general manager for operations, effective immediately. Chin moves up from his position as director of digital platforms.

 
In his new role, Chin is tasked to develop and oversee specialist business units such as Fuse (branded entertainment), while leading investment and accountability operations for the group in Malaysia.
 
He joined OMG Malaysia in 2008, and has played an instrumental role in developing and strengthening the agency’s digital expertise in the market. Under Chin’s leadership, core teams comprising digital experts have been set up, delivering cutting edge online campaigns for clients.
 
OMG Malaysia CEO Andreas Vogiatzakis said: “Danny’s digital expertise is proven and highly valued. As the media landscape changes, we are moving away from old media currencies and creating growth opportunities for business. Our success has been based on creating tangible value for our clients.
