GLOBAL – CANADA, AUGUST 27, 2013 – Deviating from the usual serious and sad story concepts of charity campaigns, TBWA\Toronto has created the ‘For Aids’ campaign, using humor to invite Canadians to join the annual national awareness and fundraising event Aids Walk for Life.
Tapping an insight into modern charity culture, ‘For Aids’ is a fun demonstration of simple things that the AidsWalk asks: walk, donate or both.
From hosting extremely particular bake sales, to growing actual tails, excessive push-ups, and employing special effects for the good of charity, the campaign sends the message that raising awareness for a good cause can be easy, as well as a great deal of fun.
