Shiv Parameswaran joins Grey Mumbai as Senior Creative Director

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, DECEMBER 8, 2010 – Grey Mumbai announced a further strengthening of the creative team with Shiv Parameswaran joining as senior creative director, heading one of the Reliance Communications groups and the digital responsibilities of Reliance under executive creative directors Rohit Malkani and Karan Rawat.

Parameswaran joins Grey Mumbai after a successful six-year stint at JWT Chennai, where apart from spearheading the creative work on Pepsi South, he worked extensively on Ford, MRF, Times of India and a host of other retail brands. His recent notable success includes the newly introduced “Galatta” campaign for Mirinda which restored the brand’s No. 1 position in the carbonated soft drinks segment down south.

Parameswaran’s work for Times of India, Sulekha.com and Pondicherry Tourism has been recognised at the Abbys, Cannes Lion, Young Guns, Spikes Asia, Clio and the One Show. He has a passion for digital mediums and strongly believes that creative content is becoming multi-dimensional – an area where he feels he can make a difference.

Speaking on his appointment, Parameswaran said, “Change is exciting, and to be part of an agency that is changing so positively is even more exciting. With the passionate young team of Amit Akali, Malvika Mehra, Rohit Malkani and Karan Rawat at the helm, I am convinced that I will be able to do interesting work at Grey.”

Rohit Malkani, executive creative director, Grey Mumbai, said, “Shiv brings to Grey a clutch of metals, solid brand experience and above all, a breath of fresh air. His passion and commitment to new media and digital is something we are looking forward to tap.”
