ASAP elects 2010 Officers and Board of Directors, Hawthorne and Velez re-elected as Chairman and President respectively

The Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines (ASAP) elected its Officers and Board of Directors for 2010  last January 12 at the ASAP office.  Re-elected as Chairman is Rick Hawthorne, Managing Director for Industry Relations of Roadrunner Network Inc.  Allen Velez, Events Pool president, takes a second year as association President. 

Fresh from the successful Ad Congress where he chaired the Venue and the Trade Exhibit Committees, Velez welcomed the re-election. "I am committed and dedicated to finish what I have started," said Velez.

Joining the group who reprise their positions are Alex Raul Blay, SounDesign president and Nicolette Mallari of Design Archipelago as VP-External and Secretary, respectively.

During the election, the officers also expressed industry support.  "ASAP will help make AdBoard and Ad Foundation, including the KBP and ASC if they should need it, significantly functional for the benefit of all the member and affiliate organizations," Velez continued.

"Among the ongoing projects and missions of the new Board is to make ASAP’s alliances with all the organization valued even greater," he added.

The ASAP induction is scheduled for February 8 at the Palm Grove in Rockwell, at 6PM.
