OMD China wins children’s clothing brand Balabala

ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, DECEMBER 14, 2011: OMD China has won the media pitch for popular home-grown children‟s clothing brand, Balabala. The USD 20 M account was won in a joint pitch with China-based, NIM Advertising, a digital marketing services player. Under the scope of work, OMD China will be responsible for all media planning and buying across traditional media while NIM will look after digital media planning and buying.
 
Hu Kun, marketing manager, Zhejiang SEMIR garment Co., Ltd China, which owns the Balabala brand, said, “At the time of pitch, we  recognized OMD China‟s strengths and how it could benefit the  Balabala brand in for 2012. We congratulate OMD as Balabala‟s media partner and look forward to OMD‟s creative media solutions and a successful working partnership.”

Balabala‟s contract with OMD China is effective immediately.
