Ripple Wave produces new BlackBerry 10 mobile app

MANILA, MARCH 6, 2013 – In a matter of weeks, the BlackBerry 10 will make its way to Philippine shores. And along with the most-awaited launch comes the official unveiling of a Philippine-made app for the mobile giant’s new OS, Hayaku! Ninja.

Developed by two-year-old digital shop Ripple Wave, the game is about a young ninja named Yaku and his adventures to reclaim the land of Hanei from evil bakers who abolished the ancient currency of Noin in favor of using their cakes and pastries as the land’s currency.

But with a currency that’s as edible and mouldy as cakes, the people of Hanei feels the weight of the large bakers’ hand and their lieutenants, who closely guard what remains of the Noin and the cake’s secret recipe.

Fed up with the oppression and the reign of the bakers, Yaku dons an ancient ninja garb and takes on a mission to overturn the savory currency and oppressors and return the Noin to the people.
