McCann Erickson receives top marks at Unilab Rave Awards

PHILIPPINES – JUNE 15, 2011 – For the third straight year, McCann Erickson reaped big wins at the Unilab Rave Awards, including Best Campaign. The annual awards show is the top pharma company’s means of recognizing outstanding works of their advertising agencies. McCann Erickson’s campaigns for Biogesic For Kids & Ceelin garnered major citations and were awarded as top performing brands with high brand health scores.
 
Biogesic For Kids “Micronized Technology” won Best Campaign in the Small Scale campaign category. The winning campaign also got Best Print Ad award and shortlists for Best TVC and Best Radio Commercial. The “micronized technology” claim for Biogesic For Kids resonated powerfully with the market, proven by the boost in sales for the new brand.
 
Ceelin “Suddenly” campaign also got Raves, with Best Radio Commercial award for “Init” and Best OOH for “Suddenly”. The integrated campaign also got a Finalist certificate for Best TVC and Best Campaign in the Full Integrated campaign category. The agency’s insight on health risks due to environment changes was spot-on, allowing Ceelin to leverage its immunity protection promise and retain market leadership.
 
These wins mark McCann Erickson’s three-year winning streak for Unilab’s top brands. The agency previously got Best Campaign accolades for Skelan “Ayos na ang Buto-buto” and Ceelin “Splash”. Biogesic “Ingat” also hauled in several citations.
