Aegis Media rethinks, redefines and reinvents the marketing landscape

MANILA, OCTOBER 1, 2012 – Aegis Media Philippines introduced its five brands to the advertising industry in a press launch held September 28, Friday, at Palladium in New World Hotel, Makati City.

Chairman Miguel Ramos stepped front and center to talk about the night’s theme: rethink, redefine, reinvent. He began sharing author Seth Godin: “The traditional approaches are now obsolete, though. One hundred years of marketing thought are gone. Alternative approaches aren’t a novelty – they are all we’ve got left.”
 
He said that we should rethink “assumptions and comfortable practices we have about marketing and business in this rapidly evolving market”, redefine what is considered as media and reinvent how we build brands.
