Advertising Band of the Philippines launched a new song ‘Client-Agency Love Story’

 MANILA, AUGUST 14, 2013-‘Client-Agency Love story’ becomes a new hit song of the band collaborated with associate creative directors JP Cuison of Publicis JimenezBasic and Apol Sta. Maria of JWT Manila.
 
The band wanted to create songs that mirror the sentiments and experiences of advertising practitioners. They noticed that songs about student life, political activists and Overseas Filipino Workers or OFWs have been written but songs from the advertising in the country was still not heard.
 
“When you listen to our songs lyrics, you would perhaps think that they are all about an advertising professional’s rants regarding his or her client and how the latter gives the former a ‘hard time’ at work”, Cuison explained.
 
“It’s pretty straightforward and single-mindedly pretty”, Sta. Maria added.
 
‘Client-Agency Love Story’ is a Filipino song that the band originally composed. “The theme of the song is basically frustration from both side of the spectrum but rather than coming up with angst, rock, rebellious song we wrote it to have a mellow feel”, Cuison added.
 
Cuison already finished recording a demo of other song entitled, ‘May Opening ba diyan?’. They also came up with new topics such as ‘Sickleave is my best friend’, ‘Barilan’, ‘May award ka nga, wala ka namang house and lot’ and more. The band plans to record a full-length album hoping that sound production houses such as Sound Design, LoudBox, and Hit Productions would support them.
