DDB’s Joji Jacob and Lowe’s Dominic Stallard are Kidlat’s int’l judges

THE PHILIPPINES, APRIL 19, 2012: DDB Group Singapore’s group executive creative director Joji Jacob and Lowe Singapore’s chief creative officer will fly to the island of Boracay, Aklan as guest judges for this year’s Kidlat Festival.
 
Jacob was recently part of AdFest 2012’s press lotus jury and was named Singapore’s most influential creative director in 2010. He was also part of th Araw Awards 2011 jury. Jacob runs Singapore’s largest creative department as ECD of both DDB and RAPP Singapore. The agency has become the city-state’s most awarded since he took over in 2009. As creative director and copywriter, he has Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and a host of other international, regional and local awards under his belt. 
 
Stallard was ranked eighth in The Big Won’s rankings of Art Director in 2008. He has collected multiple gold Lions and has received laud in major award shows such as Clio, One Show, and D&AD.
 
Jacob and Stallard will judge alongside 10 creative leaders from the local advertising industry: Raoul Panes, CCO, Leo Burnett; David Guerrero, CCO, BBDO Guerrero; Dave Ferrer, ECD, JWT; Dan Matutina, Co-founder, Plus63 Design Co.; Marci Reyes, ECD, TBWA \ Santiago Mangada Puno; 
Kat Limchoc, ECD, ASPAC/LAW; Mike Sicam, Creative Director, OgilvyOne; Russell Molina, Managing Partner/ECD, Seven A.D.; Budjette Tan, Deputy ECD, MRM and Trixie Diyco, Creative Director, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi. The group will be split into the Broadcast and Print juries to sift through over 700 entries.
 
Speakers for the event include highly celebrated fashion designer Rajo Laurel and Marvel comic book artist Carlo Pagulayan. KBP’s Atom Henares will also talk about the birth of NU107 and the changing OPM landscape.
