Cannes announces Direct, Promo Jury Presidents

Two new Jury Presidents for the 2009 Cannes Lions have been named.  Direct: David Sable-Wunderman Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, and Promo: William Rosen-Arc Worldwide Chief Creative Officer-North America.

Starting his three-decades full of advertising pursuits, Sable’s obsession with originality, his keen sights on solutions and potential, and an inherent nose for global market trends make him a leading industry innovator.  Known for his efforts in relationship marketing, Sable is grounded in creativity.  He is cited for his first integrated global product launch for Colgate Tartar Control toothpaste in 29 countries, and for Microsoft’s market-gaining global creative standard.

As leading promotions agency Frankel merged with Arc, the former’s chief creative William Rosen, landed the top creative spot at Arc Worldwide in 2004.  For clients McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola, among others, Rosen heads its creative outputs for digital, direct, promotion and retail marketing.  How Rosen drills the importance of consistently engaging consumers on the latest marketing applications has garnered him and his team a number of prestigious local and international awards.
