Lakihan Mo Logo 19 pays tribute to Filipino rock ‘n’ roll legend

THE PHILIPPINES, APRIL 23, 2012: Lakihan Mo Logo Nights, presented by central digital lab in cooperation with adobo Magazine, will pay tribute to P.O.T. front man and one of the country’s rock ‘n roll legend Karl Roy on April 24 at Casa Nami, Makati City. 
 
Now on its 19th gig, Lakihan Mo Logo Nights is the brainchild of former DM9JaymeSyfu creative director now of Y&R Philippines Herbert Hernandez as a night of relaxation, fun, and music for the advertising industry created two years ago. Since then, the event has evolved into a community and eventually a fundraising event to help less fortunate people. Just last February Lakihan Mo Logo Nights celebrated its second anniversary which raised P111,795.00 for a messenger’s operaiton caused by a vehicular accident.
 
Featured bands will be Pasok mga Bwitre, Mayonnaise, Greyhoundz, Tanya Markova, Loquy, Dahong Palay. Gruvius, Talata, Banda ni Kleggy, and Gracenote.
 
In the recently concluded adobo Design Awards 2012, Lakihan Mo Logo 18 won best in design in the broadcast/animation category. The design, made by TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno’s John Ed De Vera, also bagged the special award of Best Use in Typography.
