The Lind Hotels charts multi-island expansion beyond Boracay

Homegrown hospitality brand The Lind Hotels is entering a new phase of growth, announcing expansion plans beyond Boracay with upcoming properties in Coron and Siargao.

The move signals a strategic evolution for the independent Filipino brand, as it transitions from a single flagship property into a thoughtfully curated, multi-island portfolio shaped by a guest-first philosophy and an adaptive approach to hospitality.

At the core of the brand is The Lind Boracay, located along the prime stretch of Station 1 White Beach. As the first MICHELIN Guide-listed hotel on the island, the property has built its reputation not only on location, but on a deeply considered approach to guest experience—one that places visitors at the center of every decision.

Rather than adhering to the rigid frameworks of global operators, The Lind was conceived as a place its founders themselves would want to stay in—personal, intuitive, and constantly evolving. This mindset has fostered strong guest loyalty and sustained growth, with repeat visitors forming a significant part of its success.

Over time, the hotel has continued to refine its offerings in response to guest feedback, from launching new dining concepts such as authentic Thai restaurant Yim to enhancing its wellness and leisure facilities.

“The question we always ask ourselves is simple: if we were the guest, what would we enjoy?” says Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels. “That mindset has guided everything we’ve built, and it continues to shape how we grow.”

The Lind Coron marks the first step in this next chapter. Slated to open next year, the property will introduce a more personalized, villa-led experience set on a secluded peninsula, balancing privacy with accessibility to the mainland. The development will feature multiple dining concepts, a dive center, and expanded wellness and recreational facilities, offering a distinct contrast to Boracay’s more lifestyle-driven energy.

Meanwhile, The Lind Siargao reflects a similarly strategic direction—targeting destinations with strong demand but limited premium hospitality supply. Widely regarded as the country’s surf capital, Siargao presents an opportunity for the brand to establish an early presence in a fast-growing tourism market.

For The Lind Hotels, expansion is not driven by scale alone. Each destination is selected based on long-term potential and its capacity to support a unique interpretation of the brand’s signature experience.

“We chose to remain independent because it allows us to move quickly, adapt, and build something that truly reflects who we are,” Henrichs adds. “We are not trying to grow everywhere at once. We want to do it properly, step by step.”

This independence has become a defining advantage, enabling the brand to remain agile, respond to evolving guest expectations, and maintain a clear identity across its properties.

Looking ahead, The Lind Hotels aims to build on the strong emotional connection it has cultivated in Boracay, carrying that same spirit into its future developments.

“As we expand into Coron and Siargao, the priority is to keep that same spirit—independent, adaptable, and always shaped around the guest,” Henrichs concludes.
