TBWAVietnam introduces Aussie Fruits to the Vietnamese market

ASIA-PACIFIC – HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – MARCH 1, 2011 – TBWA\Vietnam has created a new campaign for Aussie Fruits in Vietnam. The Australian company, based in Australia and Vietnam, imports fresh fruits weekly direct from Australian farms to Vietnam.

“Most Vietnamese people don’t know what real fresh fruit is like because of what’s been available in Vietnam. That’s why I started Aussie Fruits,"  said Wayne Hoang Cao, director and CEO at Aussie Fruits. "By bringing them truly fresh and robust fruit directly from Australia, they can see what they’ve been missing out on.

"There is also a large number of Australian expats living in Vietnam and our fresh produce make them feel like they never left home,” added Cao. “TBWA\Vietnam helped me develop communications that tells our product story in a very clear and memorable way.”
 
The series of posters showcase people enjoying various fresh Aussie Fruits, such as watermelon, apples and oranges. The fruit is so fresh, robust and juicy, they explode and colour the viewer’s lens. The campaign was produced in English and Vietnamese.
 
The campaign launches kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City at the city-wide Australia Day event organized by the Australia Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
