MUNICH — Burda Community Network (BCN) has appointed Germán Luis Buceta Managing Director of its international Sales & Marketing division BCNI starting August 2010. The Burda Community Network markets the entire portfolio of Hubert Burda Media, one of Germany’s largest media companies.
Buceta follows on Helena Anwander-Ramolla, who is going on maternity leave end of June 2010. Under her management, BCNI signed worldwide representation contracts, among others for the off- and online portfolio of the French Groupe Lagardère and the Spanish Grupo Zeta.
A qualified lawyer, Buceta has extensive experience on both the media and in the agency side. He moves from MPG/ Havas Media Germany in Frankfurt, where he has been Chief Buying Officer since February 2007. He was previously Global Head of Print Media at Havas Media Head Office in Barcelona, overseeing the print planning and buying activities throughout the entire agency network.
