Fox Family Movies channel premieres in Asia

ASIA-PACIFIC, SEPTEMBER 8, 2010 – Furthering its leadership in bringing the best of Hollywood movies, US TV series and factual entertainment to Asia, Fox International Channels (FIC) is adding Fox Family Movies to its strong channel bouquet, launching on September 16 in Singapore. The channel offers family members of  new and classic family movies from major studios such as Fox, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Dreamworks, Touchstone, MGM and Paramount. It is fully subtitled in local languages for Asian viewers and will soon be accentuated with local languages via 100% dubbing to further engage with local consumers. Fox Family Movies will soon introduce in Indonesia, Taiwan and other Asian markets later in the year.

The addition of Fox Family Movies complements another FIC movie brand – STAR Movies, bringing viewers the best of Hollywood. 

The Asian TV premiere of G-Force produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens are among the current line-up of new hits, alongside major blockbusters National Treasure, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, The Chronicles of Narnia, Shanghai Noon, Freaky Friday, The Princess Diaries 2: the Royal Engagement, 102 Dalmations, Eight Below, The Pacifier and the Pirates of the Caribbean  movies.
