Game On continues its main quest to be the word on Creativity in Gaming, the first and only industry voice on Gaming X Marketing, with its latest milestone at the recently concluded Kidlat Creative Festival bringing its growing global, regional, and local leadership into focus.

Rey Tiempo, James Bernardo, and Issel Jayme took the stage to show how play is changing creativity in advertising – and how Game On has grown from chronicling that shift to helping shape its direction.

Rey Tiempo traced that journey from a column bridging gaming and advertising to a platform with an international voice and a role in setting creative standards.

Bernardo brought the conversation into the region through Gaming in Asia, emphasizing that Asia’s many gaming cultures demand distinct approaches from brands.

“Game On continues its main quest of chronicling and paving the way to shaping the conversations and most especially creativity around how brands should play in the gaming space,” says Tiempo. “Across its expanding footprint, the platform keeps creative ambition grounded in an understanding of how people actually play.”

Jayme brought that perspective home, tracing Filipino gaming from computer-shop culture to communities where audiences actively co-author the experience.

Her segment pointed toward Game On’s next milestone: launching the first industry-exclusive livestream in Gaming X Marketing. The initiative draws on the firsthand livestreaming experience of Jayme and fellow Game On member Ronie Villanueva, alongside the team’s credentials as creative directors, Creative Guild members, jurors, and respected industry veterans.

Tiempo’s creative leadership anchors that combination of gaming fluency and advertising experience, with Bernardo, Jayme, Villanueva, and the wider Game On team of Amir Tohid, Gretchen Que, and Ethan Riviello bringing their perspectives into a conversation the industry can now participate in.

James Bernardo says, “With Asia being the biggest gaming market, I think it is just right that the conversation about bridging gaming culture and brands emanates from here. I am excited about Game On being at the center of this movement.”
