PATTAYA, THAILAND – The Gerety x adobo SheCreative brunch brought together an intimate circle of women creatives on Saturday, March 22 — the final day of ADFEST 2025 — for a morning of connection and conversation at the Royal Wing Suites & Spa, Pattaya, Thailand.
Co-hosted by Joe Brooks, co-founder of the Gerety Awards, and Angel Guerrero, founder of the adobo SheCreative Network and editor-in-chief of adobo magazine, the brunch offered a space for reflection, networking, and solidarity among women shaping the future of creativity.

Set against the serene backdrop of the Terrace @ Caprice, the morning welcomed guests with mimosas, croissants, finger sandwiches, and light fare. The warm atmosphere was made even more special by the presence of Susan Credle, Global Creative Advisor at IPG Interpublic, whose insights and support resonated deeply with attendees.
The SheCreative brunch served as a celebration of women in advertising and a reminder of the power of community, emphasizing the importance of creating spaces where women’s voices can lead.
“AdFest is such a wonderful festival and this has given us the opportunity to bring together the Gerety community from the region that includes past, present, and future judges for today’s breakfast. Gerety exists because of you and the power of perspective at this table,” shared Joe.
Kankan Pare Rinnachit, Managing Director of Yell Bangkok and first-time jury member for the Gerety Awards 2025, expressed her enthusiasm: “Thank you for hosting such a wonderful SheCreative Network coffee morning at ADFEST! It was a fantastic gathering with Angel Guerrero of adobo magazine and Joe Brooks from the Gerety Awards. Great conversations, great company, and of course, mimosas. I’m excited for the opportunity to be a Gerety jury member this year. As you can see from the photos, we are SheCreative—ready for Gerety!”
Jessica Davey, Managing Director of GUT Asia, reflected on the experience: “I loved the wide range of attendees from different markets, backgrounds, and areas of expertise. The honest, human, and authentic conversations about being a senior woman in this industry were particularly valuable. I also praised Susan for being a rockstar—bringing both humor and empathy to the discussion. Most of all, I appreciated the new connections and friendships I’ll carry with me into 2025 and beyond.”
Panikka Prayer Vongsayan, Chief Executive Officer of TBWA\Group Thailand, was thrilled by the experience: “It’s always so fulfilling to have a conversation with all the ladies—we get to share our experiences, feel the changes we face, and be inspired by how similar we are, even though we’re from different parts of the world.”
Abi Aquino, Chief Creative Officer of MullenLowe Philippines, a self-described “reluctant extrovert,” expressed gratitude for how networking opportunities like these often evolve into meaningful connections: “I always forget that these festivals (and our breakfast in particular) gift me with new friends who share the same fire and pain we all do, in this wild, woolly industry of ours. I was quite lucky to spend some time chatting with the legendary Susan Credle, who is as warm as she is wise. We talked mostly about our experiences as young female creatives in our 20s, maneuvering our way through our lives and the world, and comparing ourselves to the generation today. Our verdict? Different different, same same.”

Angel emphasized the impact of the gathering: “This coffee morning was uplifting for everyone at the table. It sparked conversations and created a ‘safe zone’ in a very relaxed setting.”
