MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Leo Burnett Group Manila was crowned Network Best in Creative during the recent 4As Philippines Agency of the Year Awards. The toughest and the most coveted of all categories, Best in Creative tallies ratings based on an agency’s body of work over the past year.
On the same evening, Leo Burnett also won recognition for Digital Excellence in Innovation and was named Digital Agency of the Year. It was also a finalist in multiple categories, including Best in Market Performance, Best in Industry Leadership and Community Service, Brand Experience Excellence in Creativity and Effectiveness, Brand Experience Excellence in Creativity and Innovation, and Digital Excellence in Creativity and Effectiveness.
This year marks the AOY’s 25th year in setting the standard for advertising excellence in the country. For this milestone, the theme “Beautiful Evolution” celebrates how agencies survive and thrive in a landscape that is constantly transforming.
Raoul Panes, Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Manila and Publicis Groupe Philippines (recently named the Philippines’ Most Awarded Creative by Campaign Brief Asia), said, “We take every award as an affirmation of the team’s passion to deliver groundbreaking and results-driven work for our clients. It speaks of the many talented individuals within our agency who spend countless hours ideating and crafting campaigns together. From their collective skills emanate the agency’s power to go further than ever.”
Raymond Arrastia, Chairman of Publicis Groupe Philippines, added, “We’re especially grateful to the clients who trust us to do creative and effective work, and all the partners who support us.”
It has been a huge year for Leo Burnett Group Manila, which was the only Philippine agency to triumph in the 2023 Cannes Lions competition. Its growing haul of metals this year is highlighted by six Grand Prix awards collected from Kidlat in February, Spikes Asia in March, and Mad Stars just this August.
