MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The APAC Tambuli Awards continues to celebrate brands with purpose. This year, it awarded three agencies the coveted Grand Prix for their campaigns that not only met the brief, but added value to the brands as well.
Lowe Lintas Mumbai + MullenLowe Singapore bagged Grand Prix for their campaign “H is for Handwashing” for Unilever Lifebuoy.
The campaign aimed to instill the habit of handwashing by changing the alphabet for children. Instead of the usual examples such as house, hat, or horse, the letter should always stand for handwashing and be known across the globe.
“None of us forget our ABCs and if we can catch children early, they will not forget the crucial nature of handwashing,” said Professor of Education at the University of Delaware Roberta M. Golinkoff, Ph.D.
“H is for Handwashing” has previously been awarded Bronze at the Cannes Lions, and two Spikes by Spikes Asia.
