MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Eastern Communications, the innovative telecommunications and ICT company, proudly took home three major wins at this year’s Asia Pacific Stevie Awards, cementing its status as a champion of innovation and customer experience on the global stage.
Amid a pool of over 1,000 nominations from 23 markets, Eastern Communications stood tall at the Lotte Hotel Seoul, earning distinctions for:
- Silver Stevie for Thought Leadership Campaign of the Year
- Bronze Stevie for Innovation in Content Marketing/Branded Editorial
- Bronze Stevie for Innovative Achievement in Customer Satisfaction
In a business landscape grappling with cybersecurity threats, digital skills gaps, and the breakneck pace of tech, Eastern Communications ignited crucial conversations through its Eastern Huddles series – an initiative that earned the Silver Stevie for Thought Leadership.
Co-created with top industry groups and business chambers, the Huddles offered more than insights—they became a rallying point for transformation. With a 94% satisfaction rating and a spike in campaign penetration from 25% in 2021 to 30.1% in 2024, the series bridged knowledge gaps and empowered professionals across the archipelago.
In a fusion of tech and tourism, Eastern Communications launched Eastern Explores – a visually rich, story forward video campaign that shined a spotlight on the country’s most vibrant locales just as the company completed its historic Philippine Domestic Submarine Cable Network (PDSCN).

The campaign, awarded the Bronze Stevie for Innovation in Content Marketing, captured the essence of local culture while promoting reliable internet connectivity in previously underserved communities.
At the core of Eastern’s DNA is its “High Tech and High Touch” promise. Recognized with the Bronze Stevie for Innovative Achievement in Customer Satisfaction, Eastern’s Heart of Service campaign redefined what it means to truly connect.
By championing a culture rooted in authentic customer engagement, Eastern achieved a 5% lift in satisfaction and saw a 10% revenue boost from loyalty program patrons. It’s a reminder that tech may power our world, but it’s people who make it move.
“These awards affirm Eastern’s continuous efforts in elevating its overall experience – not only through innovation, but also through meaningful partnerships and authentic customer engagement,” said Jed Estanislao, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer of Eastern Communications. “We owe this success to our Ka-Eastern people and, most importantly, to our loyal customers, who motivate us to exceed expectations this year and drive progress for Filipino communities and businesses through technology.”
