Saniss Awards 2025 celebrates Health and Wellness Communications

LONDON, UK – The Saniss Awards has officially unveiled the winners of its 2025 edition. With entries spanning five continents and jurors drawn from the world’s most respected pharmaceutical, wellness and communications institutions, this year’s festival cemented its place as a premier platform for recognizing innovation in health, pharma and wellness advertising.

This year, participating agencies came from countries as diverse as Belgium, Finland, the United States, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Italy, South Africa, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, China, and Vietnam. The cases were evaluated by judges such as Samra Rehman (Marketing Manager, AstraZeneca), Catalina Cervantes (Marketing Manager, Laboratorios Bagó), Omar Orellana (External Communications and Reputation Manager Latam, Pfizer), Manuel Pizarro (Sr. Manager Digital & Customer Experience, Laboratorio Chile) Andrea Lizana (Marketing Manager, RedSalud), among others.

On May 15, the Saniss jury convened at the prestigious Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, gathering creative and industry leaders from agencies including VML Puerto Rico, Skin + Blister UK, Syneos Health, No Fixed Address Health Canada, DDB Budapest, Dentsu Creative Chile, Digitas Health USA, and Ogilvy Health USA. Their collective expertise culminated in awarding the coveted Grand Prix to Ogilvy Mexico for “TEST-ICLES”, a bold and poignant campaign created for Fundación De Alba. This powerful initiative stood out for its insightful use of humor and social media to destigmatize testicular cancer awareness.

Saniss concluded its season with an academic gathering in Santiago de Chile on June 5, held at the Renaissance Hotel, celebrating the year’s most impactful communications.

  • Norlop VML Ecuador earned dual Golds for “Divine Donation”, a deeply human initiative produced with Solca and the Archdiocese of Guayaquil.
  • Inbrax Chile was honored for “Prevention Unboxer” across Sexual and Reproductive Health and Consumer Products.
  • TBWA / Helsinki made waves with “Tampon FOR MEN”, a powerful cultural statement on gender and menstruation.
  • Triunfo Sudler BrazilCLV Spain, and Thanks Agency Mexico also secured Gold for standout contributions to wellness and pharma categories.

From McCann Buenos Aires’ “Mrs. Sequeira” to Havas Creative Poland’s “Fishing for Data”, Ketchum UK’s “Liming with Gran”, and MAADMcCANN Uganda’s “The Game of Change”, the Silver-winning campaigns spanned diverse formats—from PR activations to powerful film spots—illustrating the global breadth of storytelling in health communications.

Bronze recognitions went to initiatives across the globe: BeautifulBeast (USA) for a colon cancer radio campaign, McCann Health China for an awareness drive on meningitis, and Alva Creative House (Uruguay) for cardiovascular education, among many others.
