Boomerang Awards highlights Effectiveness

MANILA, JULY 24, 2013- Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) launches the 7th Boomerang Awards focusing on effectiveness in digital campaigns.

This year’s awards aim expand its reach and appeal to advertising agencies as well as advertisers, media and e-commerce platforms. It recognizes the most effective, creative solutions in the Philippines. IMMAP Board Director and Boomerang Committee Head and General Manager of Ogilvy One Manila Isa Garcia-Sicam said that they want to drive confidence, inspire bigger, bolder and more effective marketing platforms within the digital space.

With the fast paced growth of the digital technology in media and marketing, Boomerang Awards’ has steady growth that gathers 160 top Industry practitioners and professionals corporate sponsors, and more than a hundred twenty entries every year.

“While the Boomerang’s is still the new awards show, it plays an important role in our industry. By recognizing the country’s best work, it aims to drive confidence, inspiring bigger, bolder and more effective marketing platforms within the digital space,” adds Garcia-Sicam. 

The Boomerang Awards debuted seven years ago along with the 1st IMMAP Summit. Last 2008, IMMAP embarked on its first Summit, a one-day event featuring the experts in the digital business. The Boomerang Awards kicks off on August 29 at The Loft, Manansala Residences, Makati City.
