MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) recently gathered a full house of industry professionals at the Ayala Museum for its General Membership Meeting (GMM), themed “Transforming Businesses with the Power of Gen AI.”
The event opened with welcome remarks from DMAP President Miko David, followed by the official induction of new DMAP members. Hosted by Jay-Jay Tulio, Deputy General Manager of Outcomm Inc., the program offered rich insights on how artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, is reshaping the future of marketing and business operations.

Delivering the keynote was Rajesh Patil, Head of Territory and Channel Sales at Adobe Southeast Asia. Rajesh shared how Adobe’s AI capabilities are empowering creative professionals and business teams alike — from content personalization and production scaling to responsible AI deployment through Adobe Firefly. He emphasized Adobe’s commitment to IP-respecting AI tools and spotlighted innovations such as Firefly custom models, Frame.io for collaborative content review, and the Acrobat AI Assistant for document intelligence.
“Generative AI is here to help creative people do creative things,” said Rajesh. “By automating the mundane, we give teams back their time and empower them to focus on imagination, storytelling, and brand authenticity—safely and responsibly.”

A thought-provoking panel discussion followed, moderated by AnyMind Group’s Philippine Country Manager Mayi Baviera. Panelists included RG Orense, Head of Integrated Communications and Digital Advocacy at Globe Group; Mayk Juat, Creative Director and Owner of Three Spheres; and Inka Magnaye, voiceover artist, content creator, and PRO of the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP).
RG detailed how Globe leverages AI to optimize media strategies, streamline creative production, and empower internal teams. “The best advantage AI brings to large operations is the ability to simplify — and therefore accelerate — how we serve customers,” he shared.

Creative entrepreneur Mayk Juat gave a behind-the-scenes look at how his small team harnesses AI tools like ChatGPT, Notion, and generative image platforms to build campaigns faster, with less friction. “What used to take weeks, we now execute in days,” he noted.
Finally, Inka emphasized the importance of using AI as a tool — not a replacement — for human creativity and lived experience. “You can program data, but not heart,” she said. “Authenticity, integrity, and personal storytelling are what make content truly resonate. Brands need to use AI responsibly and transparently.”
The event capped off with networking among marketers and creatives, all energized to explore the possibilities of Gen AI while remaining rooted in ethical practice and human-centered storytelling.
