NEW YORK, USA – Independent creative agency VCCP is taking its global content creation studio, Girl&Bear, to new heights with the appointment of Robert Valdes as Chief Production Officer, marking a significant step in its US expansion strategy.
Launched in 2021, Girl&Bear has rapidly grown into a formidable production arm for the VCCP network, earning acclaim for its ethos of “Craft Without Compromise.” With studios already established in the UK, Spain, and Czechia, the launch of a US hub not only strengthens Girl&Bear’s international footprint but also signals a sharpened focus on fast, agile, and socially-driven content that speaks to modern brand needs.
The studio’s latest chapter will prioritize nimble, AI-powered production models tailored for social-first platforms. As brands race to engage audiences in real time, Girl&Bear’s new U.S. presence aims to deliver on that demand with world-class craft, speed and technological edge – hallmarks of the VCCP ecosystem.
At the helm of this venture is Valdes, a seasoned production leader. From Cannes Lions to Grand CLIOs, his work spans award-winning campaigns for global brands, and his leadership roles have shaped the production arms of agencies such as TBWA\Chiat\Day, Droga5, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, and most recently FIG – where he co-founded the agency and launched its StoryData platform.

“VCCP’s impressive US growth coupled with the full-stack production capabilities of Girl&Bear, creates the perfect formula to meet the industry’s growing appetite for the kind of craft and efficacy that’s only possible from an independent, content creation studio with global reach. There is so much exciting opportunity ahead for Girl&Bear here in the states,” said Robert Valdes, Chief Production Officer, Girl&Bear.
“Girl&Bear has always offered its services to our clients wherever they operate around the world, and now expanding the studio in the US with Robert at the helm, was an obvious next step for us. VCCP has seen incredible growth in the states these past few years. Now we see where we can build on that momentum creating spaces for our makers and offering our clients future-forward creative production capabilities,” said Claire Young, CEO of Girl&Bear.
The continued expansion of Girl&Bear in the US underscores the network’s commitment to providing comprehensive and future-forward creative and production capabilities to its client roster worldwide. The growing US studio will work in close collaboration with Girl&Bear’s existing global network to unlock global scale, creative consistency, and faster innovation for clients across every market.
