New York Festivals 2010 Radio Programming & Promotion Awards deadline extended to April 16

For 53 years the New York Festivals® Radio Programming and Promotions Awards has recognized The World’s Best Work in radio broadcasting.

Entries from radio stations, networks and independent producers, from over 30 countries, are submitted each year to the New York Festivals®.  In turn, international radio experts from stations and companies donate their time to the judging process.

The NYF Radio Programming and Promotions Awards GrandJury® is comprised of top level industry professionals from five continents and over 25 countries.

Each GrandJury™ member listens to and scores entries through our judging website, a process that ensures each judge is in a personal environment from which to listen to each entry. There is no distraction or undue influence from other GrandJury™ members. The procedure allows a flexible timeline to log on, listen thoughtfully and score each piece of work.

The most common feedback from NYF judges is the unique experience of listening to programs, stories and news on a global level.

NYF® maintains a network of representatives who promote the competitions in over 20 countries. These representatives are a crucial element in upholding NYF’s® dedication to searching out and rewarding The World’s Best Work™. Our international affiliates actively increase awareness of NYF® and assist in filling the GrandJury® with award-winning industry professionals.

This also ensures all work is judged without cultural bias and that each competition does represent the best in communications the world has to offer.
